Can't wait for opening day this season! The new lodge which opened last season is warm and comfortable. Lines go quickly and the trails are great. Best of all only an hour from Brooklyn. So bring on the snow this week!

No lines and only a little bit of crowding and bottle necking but for all the fresh pow over the last several days its very disappointing to see how poorly groomed the trails are! There's a good 6" of fresh snow but its too messy to really enjoy.

One of the greatest years in the last decade lots of days were 12 inches of fresh powder was received and this fri. 1/21/11 were suppose to get another great storm produceing beautiful powder runs just in time for sunny weekend fun see u on the slopes

Very icey Mountain is a huge and has trails which take you to each side there and back

Considering that it's in NJ the runs are pretty damn long, the slopes are generally well groomed and very rarely do you find that the snow is iced over, they take good care of their snow. They have an amazing line-up of rails, jibs, jumps (both small and big), mellow incline and ridiculously steep as well. It's not very crowded. Perhaps the best thing about it is that the mountain is very neatly divided up into beginner and experienced areas, every once in a while you'll have some beginner smash his face into a rail but for the most part it's very organized and most of the time you can ride without worrying about some idiot clipping your tail as you pop the lip of a jump.

Mountain Creek is a sheet of ice do not waste your time going there

With the right conditions, this mountain is convenient, clean and fun. Great for a family to go for a day.

The Park. A great selection of hits and rails from easy battleships to a 30 foot kickers for all to enjoy.

I like many of the changes that have been made at Mountain Creek from last year. Designating South as the terrain park was SUCH a good idea, as it keeps riders with similar abilities and mindsets together, and keeps everyone happy. I've been twice so far this season and both times it was well groomed and super fun to ride! Customer service seems to have improved, too - I especially like the FREE board check to keep my stuff from getting stolen, and the staff is more knowledgeable and courteous than in previous years. Thanks for taking care of my local mountain.

Mountaincreek is located in Mt Vernon. It is a cute town that includes Burger King. If the kids don't want to ski there is a tubing area. Price of ticket is $62.00. They offer a 5x7 pass early in the season which helps with the discount. You also get $10.00 off on your return visits if you bought a My Mountain Card before Jan 2008. Look forward to a great season. Only 40 minutes from my house. See you on the slopes

Only on the weekends, its overcrowed with very rude people. Other riders on the mountain push and shove, absolutely no respect to beginners. The weekend price is not worth waiting in line forever just to get onto the lift and then trampled on the way down by some punk ass kids who think they own the mountain.
