Great view 10/31/2016 by: Anonymous One of my favorite places to XC ski, mostly because of the views of Olympic Valley and the fact that it's never crowded. It's a golf course during the off-ski season so it's pretty flat with gently rolling hills and a stream running through it that will freeze up in winter. There are a few bridges that cross the stream. Most trails (20km total) are greens and blues with one black that runs at the base of the nearby lift. This place is run by Squaw Creek Resort but you do not need to be a guest of the resort to ski there. It's $15 for a day pass and they do have ski rentals and lessons. In low snow years they are not open, so call first (530) 583-6300
