my favorite place 11/14/2011 by: ella kirk I love this place! The powder is deep. The people are cool and there is tons of excellent and challenging intermediate runs. Can sometimes be challenging to get to the mountain from Pagosa Springs due to avalanche control..but the mountain is worth the wait. Uncrowded, and beautiful.
