Wild Wings

First, there is a trail fee. The skiing is typical of an earlier era of narrower trail through the forest. There's no skating. This allows a more intimate experience with nature. You also don't tend to get racers zipping by you. I find the center to provide a nice day of being out in the woods. There is one trail that offers some distance but aside from that, the trail system is limited so that an accomplished skier would cover all the trails in one full day. Overall, I enjoy Wild Wings because I feel closer to nature and the staff is friendly. The one negative would be the warming area which is lacking . I hope these small ski areas can survive the recent winters with their inconsistent snow.
