Great all around shop 01/07/2009 by: Anonymous I first found this local shop on skisite about a month ago when I was looking around for a new pair of goggles. When I finally got the time to go to this shop I was amazed at how much of a selection they had. I was only planing to make a quick trip to purchase a pair of goggles but ended up spending close to an hour and a half talking to some of the employees and looking around.

Very disappointed03/16/2007 by: Theresa Since Pelican moved to its new location, it had been disappointing. The product selection is very small. There are no changing rooms: you have to change in the bathroom! The place is tiny. Pelican used to be a great place, but not anymore.

Whitehouse Pelican Shop 11/27/2006 by: JP We were looking for a Swim Spa a few months ago & called the EB Pelican, who said they did not have one on display. Whitehouse said they did, but when we got there, they only had the Spa not the Swim Spa. When we were not interested in that, the salesman made a comment that we propably were not serious about a Swim Spa. We decided that we didn't want to do business with them and found another Spa company that displayed their Swim Spa at a show & would even let you swim in it to try it out. We would rather buy from them than Pelican. PS Did the EB store move? It's not in the mall by the Burger King any more.

Not happy with Pelican any more. 12/16/2005 by: Jim FLAKKER I went shopping at the East Brunswick store for skis. A very bad selection. I drove up to the Whitehouse location and found a pair of skis I wanted to buy. I found the prices to be 30% higher then the EB store. The skis I wanted were in WH, the boots I wanted were in EB. The sales boy from WH got on the phone with EB and reserved the boots at EB for me, I was going to buy the skis at WH untill I heard the sales boy and the salesmen at EB making fun of my last name. I've been skiing for over 20 years and shopping at Pelican for equipment for as long as I can remember. The advice on the fitting of ski boots that I got from the sales boy from WH, my friend and I both found to be very misleading and we have both been skiing for over 20 years.
