About this Ski Shop

Ski Rack Sports is a Ski, Snowboard, Kayak and Bike specialty shop located in Bangor, Maine. We have been guiding customers in their gear choices for 30 years and have an extremely knowledgeable and experienced staff. We specialize in custom boot fitting and stonegrind ski tuning. We carry a large selection of snowboard equipment from Burton, K2, Rome, and Axis. Alpine skis from Volkl, K2, Head, Fischer, Salomon, Line, Axis and Nordica. Alpine boots from Nordica, Tecnica, Salomon, and Head. We take our Nordic skiing quite seriously with skis from Salomon, Alpina, Karhu and Fischer. We carry a wide selection of Tubbs and MSR snowshoes. We have an extensive selection of winter softgoods from North Face, Mountain Hardware, Obermeyer, Spyder, Karbon, Isis, Helly Hanson, Burton, 686, Precision Mountaineering, Helix, Swix, Liquid, Hot Chillies, Polarmax, Turtle Fur, Smartwool, Darn Tuff and Fox River. In the summer we have an extensively stocked bike shop with Santa Cruz, Cannondale, Gary Fischer, Lemond, Kona, Evil, Sinister, Foes, Turner, Mavic, Danger Boy, Shimano, Sram, Fox Racing, Avalanche, Pearl Izumi, Segoi, Sidi, Nike, Fox Clothing, Garmin, Race Face, Rock Shox, Manitou, Pace, Sigma and Lights in Motion. We have been carrying kayaks for way longer then it's been the cool thing to carry. We have over 60 years of combined kayak experience on staff. We carry whitewater, sea, recreational, sit on top, sailing, peddle and inflatable kayaks. We know the equipment and we will steer you in the right direction.
