It was the fall of 1958, when a small fruit stand in Forest Hills, New York was converted into a ski shop. Since 1958, the original 900 square foot storefront has grown to a 4000 square foot store featuring a separate snowboard store, ski shop, winter/skiwear store, in-line skate and skateboard section. We continue to run ski trips to Hunter Mountain, Windham, Mount Snow, and Stratton. We also arrange corporate ski outings, trips for boy and girl scouts and any one who wants to enjoy the snow.. Our staff is comprised of avid skiers, snowboarders, and skaters all whom are very knowledgeable and passionate for their sports.
Its fifty years later, other ski shops have come and gone Small retailer have succumbed to impersonal “big box” stores, Emilio’s continues to thrive. Emilio’s Ski Shop has remained dedicated to its founding principles, offering quality merchandise at fair prices with unparalleled service and commitment to serving our customers.
