Ski Lubbock Sports is a dream, a passion and way of life. In the late 1970’s, founded by winter-sport enthusiasts, the doors of Ski Lubbock Sports were first opened. Almost four decades have now passed since that fateful day in late October. Ski Lubbock Sports has witnessed many trends come and go, including a huge transformation in the “shape” of skis, the emergence of the snowboard, or “ski-board” as it was originally dubbed and extreme advances in ski and snowboard binding technology. Although Ski Lubbock Sports has re-invented itself and evolved over the years, the core principles and beliefs have remained “un-tracked”.
As the South Plains and Texas’ premiere winter sport specialty retailer, Ski Lubbock Sports has always prided itself on customer service and providing its customer with elite equipment from industry leaders. Current owner, Justin Sharbutt, precedes three previous Ski Lubbock Sports owners and leads his staff with a unique vision and inspirational leadership. Being a Lubbock native, Justin has been involved with Ski Lubbock Sports for nearly all his life, first as a customer and patron, and presently as owner.
