Thrifty Ski Rental is not only known for having quality well-tuned rental equipment, but also for our excellent customer service. With a full selection of Nordic Skis, XC Skis, Twintips, Snowboards, Blades, and Snowshoes we'll have you quickly and properly equipped to hit the slopes. We also have a wide selection of winter clothing including helmets, hats, goggles,socks, pants, gloves, and other necessary winter accessories at awesome prices.

We are open from 8am to an hour after the slopes close everyday of the week including holidays. You can pick up your equipment the evening before skiing, and you can return it the morning after skiing at no extra charge. Don't pay for days you don't ski.

Try something new: Have you wanted to try boarding but didn't know if you would like it? Rent a board, try it, decide it may not be for you.....exchange the board for skis or blades....no extra charge.

We do our best to get you on the slopes quickly, economically, and hassle-free--QUICK-IN and QUICK-OUT. At Thrifty Ski Rental you'll also find the best names in winter clothing and accessories at below recommended prices. We also specialize in our two Seasonal Rental Programs. The first is the Seasonal 'Take Equipment Home' Program. The second, more popular and economical program, is the 'Leave the Equipment' in the store program. Your equipment preferences are kept on file. With a phone call you can have the equipment prepared for your arrival - no standing in lines.

SKIS per day: Adult $19, Junior (6-11y) $14, Kids under 5 - $10, After 4 pm prices are reduced to $13 adults and $11 for juniors.

SNOWBOARDS: Adult $22, Junior $19, child $13. After 4pm prices reduced to $18 and $16.

Weekend special from Friday 4pm thru Sunday: $40 adult $30 jr. for skis and $45 adult, $36 Jr. for snowboards.

Helmet Rental $7 per day.

Sharpen and wax your skis for $14, and your boards for $18. Or, you can get a single price for the entire season. Get your equipment sharpened and waxed as many times during the season as you like for $45 (skis)or $50 (snowboard).

Season Leases
We have a TAKE HOME SEASONAL LEASE PROGRAM for skis and snowboards. More economically, we offer a STAY HERE PROGRAM. We keep your rental information on file and set up the equipment before your arrive. You just stop, pick it up, and go. No lines-no waiting. You can choose between skis or boards on any separate day. Keep the equipment for up to 4 days, drop it off as you come off the mountain. All for as low as $39. Visit our web site for more information.

WHY PAY RESORT PRICES? Seven Springs and Hidden Valley rental prices have increased again this year. Thrifty Ski Rental prices are remaining the same. We have a large selection of shaped NEW Downhill Skis, NEW TwinTips, NEW Cross Country Skis, NEW Snowboards, Snow Blades (the short skis), and Snowshoes. All of our equipment is WAXED after every use and SHARPENED when needed--this means OFTEN! In our store, everyone gets PERSONALIZED SERVICE. We assist you in choosing boots to ensure that they are dry and fit properly. We help you choose the proper length of equipment appropriate for your ability. We have a large assortment of clothing and accessories. We carry the "oops I forgot my good gloves at home" to "I want the best".

Ski and snowboard hot wax or sharpening, while you wait or drop it off. We have a Seasonal Tuning Program too. Sharpen or wax your equipment as often as you like all season.

Take PA Turnpike exit 91 (Donegal/ Ligonier). When leaving the turnpike, turn Left on Route 31. Drive 1 mile. We are on the right side of the road 10 - 15 minutes before either Hidden Valley or Seven Springs Resorts.
