A foot of fresh and no lift lines is hard to beat!
Posted on 12/20/2010 by: Anonymous

My first day on the hill and I was welcomed with 10 to 15 inches of fresh snow! I love going to Willamette Pass, because you can always get right on the lifts and with the super high speed 6 seater you can get plenty of turns in, even if you show up late or have to leave early. And when it snows like it did today, the terrain is hard to beat. i highly reccomend riding Willamette Pass, especially if the bigger resorts are going to be slammed with tourists.

Good ski area

Willamette Pass is a good area for beginner/intermediate skiers and boarders to cut their teeth. Not the best snow but plenty of it. Snow tends to be on the wet side but tolerable. The price of the lift tickets ($45) as well as the park's 29 ski trails and two terrain parks more than make up for the sub par snow.

Really solid for what you pay for

Willamette Pass is definitely a decent mountain, and the prices are pretty low. If you look at their website and get one of their deals to work (such as the Shell Ski Free deals for Fridays), you can get very good value. Obviously not the nicest resort in Oregon, but it's not a huge step down either. I'd strongly recommend it to intermediate-level skiers or boarders focused on reasonably priced lift tickets.

What a beautiful place to go

My husband and I went snowboarding for the first time last winter at your amazing mountain, he absolutely loved it. I tried my hardest, but just couldn't get the hang of it. He wishes he could be there every weekend this winter, he is a natural. I spent most of my time in the Lodge, eating and drinking coffee. The food was better than I expected and the atmosphere was great. I hope my husband can make it more this winter!
