Bear Creek Mountain Resort Reviews

Very relaxing mid week get away. Hot tubs rock!! Out door heated pool is beautiful. Bear Creek gives you the feeling of being in another country. Smaller mountain, but the resort is absolutely lovely!!! Restaurant - the Grille, well, delicious!!!

I got it a ok rating and not lower due to the fact that its in Pennsylvania, and well the lehigh valley so what more can you expect. It is nice that it takes only 20 minutes to get there. It is a good mt to learn on and is well kept. It has a nice terrain park and the staff is always very nice.

My son and I had a blast snowboarding this past Sunday. We boarded during the 4-10 session. This was our 1st time and found the staff through-out the resort to be very friendly and knowledgable. The architechture and color theme is just beautiful All of the staff memebers were happy in all areas of resort. We've been to other local resorts and found the staff not so happy!!!! Conditions were great, food was great. We'll definitely be back next week If you have never been to this mountain, well worth the trip!!! Happy Shredding!!!!

I really like Bear creek. I never snowboarded before until the day before Christmas eve, and I LOVED IT! the resort is nice and comfy, and it was a nice environment to start on. I am going back again tomorrow and I cannot wait. It is not tiny and yet not really big. It is a perfect size!

Food was excellent and the customer service was pleasant. What a wonderful treat to take the family to enjoy for a day..

Went over for locals night. $17 for evening lift ticket. Great conditions and friendly staff. Perfect night for skiing.

I took the Learn to Ride lessons and the instructors were fantastic. I was up on a snowboard and cutting edges in no time at all. Instructors were very personable and positive. I went back three weekends in a row - I love it.

Midweek the values are great. The Half-Day ticket is a real deal. Lots of work in the past year on the slopes and the lodge has paid off. Come and have fun!

Tuesday at Bear Creek was the best day of the season! No line, well groomed trails and sunshine!

We love Bear Crek - great staff, great skiers and boarders BUT had a pair of blades and 2 sets of poles stolen while packing up to leave. We use the ski check all the time, but when leaving the blades were pick up out of our pile.

In spite of the record cold, skiers were on the mountain. The resort was blowing snow in the morning which made for some areas of poor visibility when combined with the breezy conditions. The four hour lift ticket is a bargain. With two quad lifts there is little waiting and conditions were good to excellent. All slopes were groomed. The lodge is the most comfortable at any ski resort in the area. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly.

Timberline & Sasquatch icy, Lower extreme thin, but other trails were very good. A very enjoyable night skiing. I would recommend it. Short lift lines.
