Panorama is a non-smoking resort! Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Prices for the 'gold' level accomodation was quite good but one should shop for the best prices. 1 bedroom condo is comfortable and supplied with some basic utensils, dishes and pots and pans and a hair dryer in the bathroom. Stop in Invermere for groceries before you head up to the mountain, Panaorama convenience store has basic groceries, liquor, beer & wine and at corner store prices. Restaurants in the resort range from pub fare to fine dining with prices to match isolated location. The hot pools are great after a day of riding or skiing. Traverses on the mountain make some areas hard for snowboarders to get to. Panorama makes snow (hard pack = hard on the legs) and that may or not have a softer layer of natural snow on top. New quad lifts are welcome, bye-bye T-bars. Virtually no lift lines except the last day we were there (beginning of the Alberta Feb. long weekend and President's week (U.S.)
