Doing what you can with global warming 01/08/2009 by: Mati This was an ok mountain. There wasn't enough snow but you can tell they run the machines often to make something happen. Once you get to the bottom of the mountain you can see little patches of grass due to warm weather. The slopes are great, the lift lines run quick and they place is well managed. I would recommend this place to somebody that doesn't want to drive up north.

Check slope conditions before buying lift ticket 01/05/2009 by: Anonymous Suggest checking out slope conditions beore purcasing lift ticket. We went here two times within a week. The first time the slopes were so icy it was impossible to ski. My 11 year old (who has been skiing for 4 years) was not able to ski anything other than the bunny slope (waste of money). The next time we skied there had been a light dusting of snow and they were able to blow most of the night. Conditions were much better and way less crowded than the more popular Sugar Mountain. Glad we went back other wise I would never have considered skiing here again. As it is I would consider after talking to skiers on the slopes and looking for myself. Would not suggest if you like a variety of slopes because only five were opened. This resort seems to struggle with being able to make snow like the others in this area.
