This is a great hill but wish they would put in night skiing. 4:30 is too early to stop skiing, maybe for the little ones but for young adults it would be nice to be able to ski and snowboard under the lights. Otherwise quite impressive. A half hour drive back to town and so kinda disruptive to stop and start the day again somewhere else.

We have been coming here regularly for 15 years as a family as well as going to other resorts from time to time. This place stands out because it is so family friendly. Once you have been here awhile you get to know the staff and the family that runs the resort. The Bishops have an awesome resort. Lots of activities that change weekly, competitions, dances, prizes, fundraisers etc. Always lots going on. Spring skiiing is always a splash. Teens love this the most.

Sir Sams is great place to go, especially if you like things a little quieter. Its not as busy as Blue or Tremblant...but also not as big. Its a great family hill located in a small town. Ski conditions are pretty typical for Ontario. The hill is well maintained and the staff are friendly. There is that small town feel to it, with most skiers and riders being members. This is a great beginner hill as well.
We have a cottage near by and always try to make it out a few times a season. I give it two thumbs up!!
