The Homestead Reviews

The Inn at Homestead Resort is amazing. My boyfriend and I attend the Taste the Passion Wine Tasting Event every year that is put on my the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Association. The event is kicked off with a Friday night Meet and Greet at The Homestead. We just love the accomindations and the ski-in/out from out room pluss the amazing restaurants. The event is next weekend if you haven't already sighed up. The resort has a package deal tied in with the event.

Homestead is kind of a private slope. It is small but limits how many people the put on everyday. They are ready for the upcoming season now we just wait for the Lake effect snow machine to kick in. Maybe this weekend we will get some to start things off.

This is a wonderful, family friendly resort. Their lifts are aging, but seem reliable and my kids and myself have a great time there year after year. The staff have always been super friendly and knowledgeable. All three of my boys have learned to ski on Homestead hills from their ski experts. I only wish they had weekday skiing hours....they've cut back in recent years to being open weekends only.
