My husband and son are going back this season! The people were friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the skiing was great!

T Bar sucks!
Posted on 10/03/2009 by: mitch

they say open 7 days a week, and have four surface t bar lifts, but really. come on, the main t bar lift is open 7 days a week, the silver t bar lift is closed on weekdays and open only on weekends cause its the busiest time , and a yellow t bar for the beginners. The blue t bar lift only goes a quarter way up and used to be used for nite skiing, but they dont have that anymore. and is only in use when the main lift breaks down or for a ski event at the hill. Sometimes the line ups can get really long at the bottom. For 34 bucks, Purden, Mt Timothy, and Powder King are not that far a drive. And you dont waist time riding up a steep T bar. im long time Troll skier , just getting sick of the price, you pay to excersize up the mountain. Its time to for a chair lift! ill gladly pay more for a ticket! its a great hill when it snows! Mt timothy isnt a big boy, neither is Purden they were just smart enuff to put a chair lift in.
