First Ski Tow in Theodore Wirth Park 10/29/2013 by: Teresa Nygard My family and I visited a few years ago as part of a Bucket List for my dad Alvin Nygard. He actually started the first Ski Tow at Theodore Wirth when going to college in about 1950. I found the actual Minneapolis Tribune newspaper article of the Ski Tow Opening. If you'd like me to send it to you, I'd be happy to. I only wish I could get a copy of the original photo from the Minneapolis Tribune. It would look great framed and hung up in the lodge! My dad Alvin will be 90 years old and still remembers the Ski Tow at Theodore Wirth being one of his best memories!!! Thanks, Teresa Nygard

Conditions 12/10/2007 by: Justin Fronius I have been to Theodore once, i went this weekend and i love the feel. its quiet, people are nice the food is great, conditions are awesome, plenty of snow, a tow rope, everything i could ask for. i love Theodore because it has a different feel, quit and very fun to ride.
