It was an amazing sunday!!!! My first snowboarding experience was unforgettable... The place is awesome, very organized, friendly people... I definitely will be back to Stevens Pass for another snowboard session.... |

Holiday Skiing was a blast

Awesome day on the slopes. Crystal clear conditions, not crowded at all, and Great staff. The snow conditions were a bit choppy and chunky and some pretty much like ice but in the shaded areas on the backside yo udid find a good mix of powder and packed.......nicely goomed but again, a little slick until the runs were broke in for the day. First time there and was spectacular. Prices a bit much ( 60.00) and avalanche closed the pass heading west at the end of the day so that was a bit disappointing but all that aside, made the right choice for the holiday...BTW the upper outdoor BBQ was AWESOME......!! |

Christmas Day skiing
Posted on 12/26/2007 by: Julie The run Big Chief has deep snow off the groomed trail, stay on the groomed area. The backside was fun skiing, all three chair lifts were operating. We did have to wait in line for 1 hour because the credit card machine was down. One guy requested a beverage for his wait and he was offered a free cocoa/coffee. |
