Tahoe Donner Terrain
Our wide open bowls, excellent grooming and lightly traveled runs make Tahoe Donner Downhill a gem for beginner skiers and riders. We can’t forget the kid-friendly menu in the cafeteria, an on-site retail shop stocked with all things skiing and riding for little tykes, an impressive rental shop with equipment for kids and beginners, plus a friendly, courteous staff to make your experience fun and enjoyable.At Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Area, you will enjoy a small ski area that delivers a personal touch that often can't be found at larger resorts. You'll discover Tahoe Donner in the upper reaches of Truckee. It is within 5 miles of Donner Lake and less than 20 miles from Lake Tahoe. The lifts include 1 quad chairlift, 1 double chairlift, and 1 surface lift. There are 14 runs with over 120 skiable acres.

Tarrain Parks: 3Entire area is open to snowboarding. Quarter pipe, jumps, tabletops, rollers, rails and other features available in our Terrain Park. Lessons and rentals are also available.

What's New This Season at Tahoe Donner
New this year is a brand new intermediate trail called "Leary's Laugh." Tahoe Donner will also be hosting their first-ever Winter Superstars Week. Most children want to be superstars, so children of all ages and skill levels are invited to come out, compete and win medals. Obstacles include ski and snowboard races, a sled pull and a mini terrain park event. Additional popular family events include a torchlight parade, a 200-feet banana split extravaganza and a downhill dummy and rail jam. Those new to skiing (or looking to improve) are also encouraged to take part in Learn to Ski or Snowboard Month in January. Newcomer packages are just $39 and include an all-day lift ticket, rental equipment, and a 1.75 hour group lesson for ages 7 and up.Information last updated 11/03/2014.
