Nub's Nob Terrain
Nub's Nob has 3 distinct areas, the original "Front", Nub's Nob South and Pintail Peak. The "Front" offers some of the top expert and advanced skiing in the Midwest. Chute, Scarface Smokey and Twilight Zone stare down at you from the main parking lot. All of the original slopes cut in 1958 are a part of the north facing front slopes. On the back side of the original slopes is Nub's Nob South.Built in 1979 it offers a plethora of long and scenic tree-lined beginner and intermediate trails that meander thru the woods with views of Lake Michigan serviced by 2 triple chairs. Our newest area, Pintail Peak, is accessed thru Nub's South and is over a mile from the base lodge! This award winning group of runs features intermediate and advanced slopes, varying fall lines, two chairlifts and huge warming house with Lake Michigan views, restrooms and food service. Our XC trail system winds around all of these peaks and is powertilled and tracked as needed.

The most award winning series of Terrain parks in the Midwest is groomed daily and features 3 distinct parks - one for each level of skier and rider. From our free Purple park for beginners located on the Bigtime beginner area right in front of the lodge to the Big Park featuring a maze of jumps, elements and rails in a top to bottom run, there is something for everyone.

What's New This Season at Nub's Nob
We purchased another Pisten Bully 400 snow grooming machine. In the hands of our award winning grooming team, this workhorse delivers the best ski and snowboard surface possible.We also added the Wintersteiger Mercury automated ski and snowboard tuning machine to the Tune Center. This machine can turn out tunes better than what comes from the factory.
