Whistler Blackcomb TerrainWhistler Blackcomb offers an experience like no other for skiers and riders of all levels. Whistler Blackcomb hosts the largest skiable terrain in North America at 8,171 acres and features over 200 runs to carve. Both mountains have remarkable diversity in beginner, intermediate and expert slopes, as well as five revolutionary terrain parks, a Super Pipe and a Snow Cross track that are covered in an average snowfall of 404 inches per year.
And, as of December 2008, skiers and riders can now travel from one mountain to the other, without having to visit the base, via the record-breaking PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, which provides an 11-minute, jaw-dropping trip across both mountains, reaching a record elevation of 1,427 feet over Fitzsimmons Creek and carrying up to 28 occupants.
