Big White Ski Resort is all about snow. An average of 7 meters of Mother Nature’s finest, Okanagan champagne powder falls annually creating the world famous snow ghosts and blanketing the long cruising slopes. With 119 runs, five powder bowls and plenty of sunshine you’ll soon realize why Ski Canada Magazine awarded Big White “Best Skiing in Canada”.The six-passenger chairlift "Snowghost" added to their 15 other express chairs, gondola, and surface lifts, offers one of the most comfortable lift systems in North America thus guaranteeing short lines. The ‘Snow Ghost Express’ – the longest six-passenger chairlift in Canada! This state-of-the-art Leitner-Poma chairlift sits parallel to the existing Ridge Rocket Express. The two lifts combined transport ten passengers to the top every seven seconds and increase the hourly lift capacity to an impressive 28,000 riders per hour.

Tarrain Parks: 1Big White is a natural snowboarders’ paradise, with the glades, gullies, tree lines and bowls creating a natural skate park-like setting. Riders of all abilities can find terrain suited to their interests and needs. Big White’s TELUS Park boasts a snowcross course and rail park. TELUS Park, named one of the best terrain parks in North America by USA TODAY, is a winter playground like no other. Snowboarders will love the lights for night riding, and the double chair for faster access.

What's New This Season at Big White Ski Resort
In the 2018/2019 season, Big White Ski Resort upgraded its Powder Chair lift with a brand new, $4-million four-passenger fixed grip Leitner Poma lift. This investment increased upload capacity to 2,400 passengers per hour – a 600 person increase from the previous one.In the summer of 2019, the mountain invested $500,000 to enhance the trail to Westridge so that skiers and snowboarders could get to Gem Lake sooner in the season. This investment meant opening up Westridge runs with 30 to 40 cm less snow base than usual.
