What's New This Season at Lutsen Mountains
Lutsen Mountains is undergoing a multi-year $8 million expansion. This past year, several new runs were added on the Eagle Mountain's Northface. We have also added a new summit chalet located adjacent to the upper gondola terminal at the top of Moose Mountain. The new 5,000 square foot Summit Chalet features unparalleled views of the Lake Superior coastline, offering an expansive menu of hearty skier favorites and new gourmet selections. All three levels of Lutsen's existing Historic Chalet have been completely refurbished, boasting three new fireplaces; new upstairs food and beverage service area; convenient new locker room and lockers; all furniture replaced upstairs and new bathrooms. Next year's improvements will also include a new on-mountain check-in facility at Eagle Ridge and luxury ski-in/ski-out townhomes. Improvements in subsequent years include a new base area on Moose Mountain, a high speed lift on Moose Mountain and more on-mountain condominiums and townhomes.Information last updated 10/03/2007.
