Obertauern Terrain
What ingredients make Obertauern a ski metropolis and snow bowl? Take the location at 1,740 m altitude, the special weather systems in the Tauern mountains and the unique mountain massif which surrounds the centre of the resort with 100 km of pistes. The famous Tauern Circuit means that skiers can ski around the edge of the Obertauern snow bowl. The challenging ‘Super Seven' tour comprises 7 of the highest reachable points in the region by lift and on skis, extending up to 2,313 m and offering fantastic views. Ski buses and cars are not needed here. The pistes are just a short distance from every point in the resort. And there are no long queues at the 26 modern cable cars and lifts, even at weekends. It's Snowtime in Obertauern from the end of November to the beginning of May!
