The Homestead Terrain
Opened for skiing in 1983, The Homestead offers skiers and snowboarders exceptional views of Lake Michigan, The Sleeping Bear Dunes and Manitou Islands. Varied terrain perfect for families and first timers with average annual snowfall over 150 inches. Also known for tremendous Lake Michigan lake effect snow storms, which leave dozens of inches of fresh powder in a short time. Tarrain Parks: 1Learning Terrain, lessons & rentals. Terrain Park this year is located on Spring Beauty featuring rails, mailbox and two table top jumps. Complimentary big air! Riders welcome on all slopes. Terrain Park Training: Need some tips before exploring the Terrain Park for the first time? How to ride the rails? Learn the basics for catching big air? Then this two-hour group lesson is for you. We'll teach you the fundamentals for free riding in an environment that stresses safety but is lots of fun.

What's New This Season at The Homestead
We made many improvements to the resort in 2012 & 2013 including all new walkways, lighting and signs. We also redecorated CQ's Cabin and the Ski School.Our new ONE season pass offers customizable flexibility. Save on lift tickets, equipment rental, lessons, NASTAR racing as well as on dining, fitness center passes, fitness class, spa services such as massage and facials, and beauty salon services such as a haircut & style, manicure and pedicure. Save on childcare too. Prices go up on Nov 1, and Dec 1.
