About Timm's Hill National Trail
The Timm's Hill Trail is a 10 mile non-motorized trail connecting the Ice Age Trail to Timm's Hill, elevation 1951.5 feet, Wisconsin's highest natural point. The trail is open year round for hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and snowshoeing. The Timm's Hill Trail is groomed for both classic and skate skiing, at a minimum weekly and after each snowfall as necessary to ensure a quality skiing experience.
From the south end, the first 3 miles of the trail start out fairly flat and are great for beginners and families. The next 7 miles get progressively hillier and offer more of a challenge for the intermediate to advanced skiers.
The Timm's Hill Trail connects the Rib Lake Ski & Snowshoe Trails to the High Point Ski Trails, creating over 50km of connected trails, offering some of the finest cross-county skiing in the mid-west.
Snowshoeing, skijoring, and well behaved pets are welcome on the Timm's Hill Trail, the Rib Lake Ski & Snowshoe Trails, and the High Point Ski Trails.
