About Hilltop Orchards
200 acre property, beginner and intermediate trails throughout the gently sloping orchard and through expertly groomed woodland trails. Hilltop Orchards – home of award-winning Furnace Brook Winery -- has a cross country ski and snowshoe center including a new 1.7km loop through woodland trails designed by Olympian John Morton. Set on 200 gently sloping acres, trails will be groomed within the orchard for both classic and skating-style skiing and snowshoeing. The scenic 20-mile views into the southern Berkshires are breathtaking! Visitors tell us they love the picturesque terrain. One trail leads to a giant hemlock forest. Skiers and non-skiers alike are welcome: Warm up by the natural stone fireplace in the Barrel Room complete with 52" flat screen TV. FREE tasting of Furnace Brook Wines. Farm Winery Store, featuring hot cider, fresh baked goods and cheeses. Open daily 9am-5pm. Guest of owner's Garden Gables Inn in Lenox do not pay trail fees.

Every month we have a full moon snowshoe trek under the stars. Our expert guide accompanies the group then the 1 to 1.5 trek is capped off with a warm bonfire and wine tasting! Visit the website for complete dates and details.
