The Winthrop Street site was redeveloped to provide cross-country enthusiasts with one of the premier facilities in the metropolitan area. This site has 5.5K of classic and skate ski trails, ranging from a 1K easy loop to an extremely difficult complete 5.5K loop. Access is from the parking lot off Winthrop Street, just south of Upper Afton Road. This site also includes 4K of lighted trails.
