About Golden Eagle Lodge and Nordic Ski Center
Unspoiled and Unforgettable, the only Resort & Resident on Flour Lake. A family resort w/lakefront, modern housekeeping cabins w/fireplaces, decks and/or porches & private docks. In winter we are a Nordic Ski Center, “silent sports only” resort. Skiing from your cabin door on over 70 kilometers of Snowcat groomed ski trails. All trails are tracked for traditional skiing w/45 km. for skate skiing. We built our trail system specifically for cross country skiing with trails ranging from beginner to advanced levels. We are at the height of the Laurentian Divide which gives us the dependable snow each season at an average of 120” of snowfall per season. We are nationally renowned for having some of the finest ski trails in the Upper Mid-West. Lighted trail for night skiing is available all week. Snowshoeing & skating rink. Complete ski and snowshoe rentals & heated waxing room.

Free ski tickets are included in any cabin rental at Golden Eagle Lodge Nordic Ski Center. You must be a registered guest in a cabin to obtain a free ticket. Seasonal tickets are available. Free parking and free suggestions are available from the front desk on where to enjoy the skiing based on your interest levels and expertise. Maps are included free with all tickets.. Half day ticket pricing starts at 01:00.

We have Fisher Skis and Salomon boots and bindings. Boots are designed as a combi boot for use as beginner skate skiers. You can rent complete sets or each piece of a complete rental. In the snowshoes we have both wood and high performance. We have all sizes in the skis and snowshoes for the adult down to the youth. There are some packages that include all rental and snowshoes. Golden Eagle Lodge now offers Free WIFI wireless internet in the lodge to Lodge cabin guests. Picnic tables added to the ridge run ski trail on the south ridges of Flour Lake, Red Pines trail and the Moose Ridge trail.
