About Montecito Sequoia Lodge
Located between Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Park in the Sequoia National Forest, our terrain is one of the most scenic in the nation. Access to two distinct and different skiing areas offering a wide variety of trails over 85km of groomed track. Montecito Sequoia Lodge has trails for all levels of skier. From the first day beginner to the advanced off trail back country Skier. We have groomed trails that hold snow long after others in the area have lost theirs and unlike other XC resorts our trails traverse, descend and climb over 1000 vertical feet offering spectacular views and exhilarating runs.

Montecito Sequoia Lodge Tickets - More Info
Prices quoted above are for non resident guests and include unlimited changes of equipment (9-5). This price also includes lunch so for best value, plan to arrive early.
For our lodge guests the trail fee is included in your room rate and equipment rental is just $15 a day with unlimited changes of equipment. Lessons are also available from our PSIA trained staff for both resident and non-resident guests in all disciplines. .

Cross Country Skiing Lessons at Montecito Sequoia Lodge
Lessons are available from our PSIA trained staff for both resident and non-resident guests in all disciplines and at all levels. Prices are $15 / lesson for lodge guests and $25 / lesson for non resident guests. Private lessons are also available at $30 and $50 for youths and adults respectably. A lesson lasts 1hr and 15mins.
Improvements This Season at Montecito Sequoia Lodge
The main lodge has been completely updated with new carpet and paint. All the lodge rooms in the main lodge have also have new beds, carpet and paint. The suites have also been redone with more work planned in November of 07 to update the Ponderosa room and all the lodge bathrooms. New equipment for 07/08 includes a new Prenoth Snowcat to complement our existing fleet and additional snow moving equipment to facilitate access to and from the lodge.
Dining Around Montecito Sequoia Lodge
Full Buffet Meals are included in our Lodging Packages. You will find Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner as well as 24 hour hospitality pantry.
Bars and Nightlife Around Montecito Sequoia Lodge
The lodge provides a variety of nighttime activities for the resident guests, which are all included in the room rate, these include campfires and s'mores, bingo, karaoke, dances, family games and casino nights to name a few. There is also a fully licensed bar on the premises, two large fireplaces with plenty of comfy sofas and chairs to relax in. Live bands also drop by from time to time so call ahead to see if there will be any musical entertainment during your stay. All additional activities are subject to availability.
Montecito Sequoia Lodge Lodging, Hotels, and Condos
The lodge offers rooms and suites throughout the winter with 2, 3 and 4 day packages avaliable on the holidays. No other lodging in the area offers access to the trails that we can without additional travel.
Recreation Around Montecito Sequoia Lodge
The Lodge offers 4hrs of supervised kids program during the day for our younger guests, this additional service is also included in the room rate as is access to the spa. Guided tours and snowshoe hikes are also available as are dog sled rides and new for 07/08 horse drawn sleigh rides.There are nearby visitors centers and guided hikes of the Sequoia groves which show case the natural beauty of the largest living trees in the world. All additional activities are subject to availability.
