More About Badger Pass at Yosemite

About

Yosemite's Badger Pass has been welcoming newcomers to skiing for more years than any other California resort as the original California ski area. Badger offers a down-home atmosphere and a season's worth of activities, festivals and friendly competitions. With 20 km of groomed trails and 145 km of marked trails, Badger is a perfect place to begin your exploration of Yosemite in the winter.

As California’s original ski area, Badger Pass is a favorite for generations of families. Unpretentious, friendly and affordable, Badger Pass offers a uniquely stress-free atmosphere. Featuring one of the best sundecks in the Sierra, you can watch your children learn to ski or snowboard while enjoying the California sunshine. Badger Pass is a full-service ski resort offering ski and snowboard instruction, rental equipment, ski shop, child care, cafeteria and lounge. Open mid-December through late March or maybe even early April, weather permitting.
