About Northfield Mountain
40 km of groomed trails wind through 2500 acres of open hardwoods and hemlock groves, providing glimpses of the Connecticut River Valley. Snowshoers are welcome to snowshoe the 10 km of dedicated snowshoe trails. Convieniently located just 90 miles east of Boston, and 90 miles north of Hartford in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, Northfield Mountain offers the most groomed cross country trails in Massachusetts.
