The Porcupine Mountains Wildeness State Park offers over 60,000 acres of wilderness to explore! Whether you ski or snowshoe, you will be able to discover an old growth forest filled with wildlife, peace and beauty! There are 42 k of cross country trails, 42 runs for alpine skiing and over 90 miles of hiking trails. The Porkies are open all year!The Porcupine Mountains Cross Country ski trailsa are well groomed and open as long as weather conditions permit. We welcome all visitors. Donations are appreciated to help with the trail maintenance. Please plan to visit soon!
