Shanty Creek Resorts is a four-season golf and snowsport resort with a conference center located on 4,500 acres. During the winter months, Shanty Creek offers 450 ft of vertical, a tubing park, half pipe, terrain parks and 30 km of cross-country trails for Nordic enthusiasts. Cross Country Skiing Lessons at Shanty Creek Resorts
Private and group Skiing, Snowboarding and Cross Country lessons for adults are available. There are also children's programs for snowboarders and skiers. Smart Riders is a 1/2 day snowboarding clinic for ages 6-12, and is only available weekends and holidays. Also available is Kid's Academy for ages 6-12, Snow Stars for children ages 5-6, Snow Comets for children ages 3-4, Ski & Play for children ages 3-5, and Snow Angels for children ages 5-6.
Ski Racing Programs at Shanty Creek Resorts
Racing clinics are offered every day of the week (with a minimum of 3 participants).
RACE CLINIC: Starts at 10 am. 2 hours of race training, includes 3 NASTAR runs.
NASTAR: Available Monday-Friday at 2:30pm; Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays from 12pm - 3pm.
