About Holiday Valley
There are easy trails that follow the golf course at the base of the mountain. The summit trails are more challenging and follow the ridgeline at the top of the mountain and around snowmaking reservoir, Spruce Lake. From the top you can access New York State forest trails which are unpatrolled. Please note use of the ridge trails require skiing downhill on one of alpine ski trails. You can access the ridge trails by skiing up an easier downhill trail (no trail fee required) or by purchasing a 2-ride ticket for $12. Holiday Valley is a full service downhill skiing and snowboarding resort with lodging on the slopes, dining, retail, rentals, lessons and child care. The cross country trails at Holiday Valley supplement the 58 downhill ski trails and make a delightful after-skiing activity, or an option for a day off the slopes. Lodging is available at the slopeside Inn at Holiday Valley, at the many nearby condominiums or in the Village. The Village of Ellicottville is one mile from the resort and bustles with great shopping, dining and entertainment.

Awesome cross country trails and snowmobile trails in nearby Allegany State Park (10 miles from Holiday Valley). The White Trail (crosses the State of New York) is accessible from the Holiday Valley summit trail. The Holiday Valley Tubing Company is located 4 miles from the resort and offers 10 lanes and 2 tows. New Mountain Coaster located at Holiday Valley, $8 per ride.
