About Stowe Mountain Resort
Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak at 4395', is home to the Stowe Mountain Resort and its world class Alpine ski area. Forty-five kilometers of trail groomed daily for both skate and classic in addition to 30 Km of wilderness mountain Backcountry trails on Vermont's highest peak provide something for everyone. Our trail system interconnects with adjacent systems to provide over 100 Km of ski terrain, accessible with our trail pass. Free access to 5000' double chairlift for nordic skiers wishing to get higher into backcountry area. All located on lands of the Mansfield State Forest, a pristine natural area with no development. Experience the serenity of our wilderness playground on the trails along the brook, or deep in our beechwood. Ski to our trailside warming hut for complimentary hot coco and cookies. Great beginner terrain.

Stowe Mountain Resort Tickets - More Info
All Cross Country tickets include the use of the Mansfield Tollhouse Double Chairlift for guests with Nordic ski gear. Top elevation on this lift is 2230 ft.. Half day ticket pricing starts at 1:00 pm.

Cross Country Skiing Lessons at Stowe Mountain Resort
Class lessons for all levels of cross country skier are offered twice daily, all season long, at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. Private instruction is available anytime by reservation. Kids12 and under are free in the lesson with parent.
Improvements This Season at Stowe Mountain Resort
A new Yurt lodge located adjacent to the Center providing extra room seating for groups, events, or just a quiet place to warm up. Summer 2011 trail projects re-worked 5 km of terrain on the Derby Trail and the Bear Run trail for better grooming and loop skiing.
