Ontario's hot spot for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and downhill skiing/snowboarding. Located at the top of the Niagara Escarpment in a UNESCO biosphere reserve, trails wind through a 200 year old forest of 100 ft. tall hardwood trees. Breathtaking views and high altitude snow conditions guarantee memorable adventures.

Offering excellent xc ski trails for classic and recreational skate skiers through on 27kms of beautiful forest trails high above Blue Mountain. Professionally groomed daily. 10 kms of snowshoe trails. Panoramic views from our 420 foot long SUSPENSION BRIDGE and from on top of the rock face at LOOKOUT POINT! 1 1/2 hr Guided snowshoe tours Saturday evenings 6pm-8pm. Reservations required. $40 including rental, $30 with own gear. Lessons and guides available but need 48 hrs to reserve. Group rates, educational programs, season pass, 3 trail pass package, Ski3 passport.. Half day ticket pricing starts at 14:00.

Ski Lessons

Yes we offer introductory lessons in addition to trail pass/rental package. 24-48 HOUR RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! Saturday night guided snowshoe hikes cross over the suspension bridge and through the charming forest. Reservations required.

Ski Racing Programs

Scenic Caves Skate Ski Loppet: Sun. March 8, 2015. Everyone is welcome! Youth, men and women of all ages are invited to participate in their age category. There are three trail course lengths: 3km, 10 km and 20km. Romp to Stomp Ontario: February 7, 2015. Features a 3k/5k snowshoe walk, 3k snowshoe race and 1k Lil Romper Dash. Fundraising event benefiting the Canadian Breast Cancer Fdn.

Improvements This Season

As mentioned above, 4km's of new challenging and beginner xc ski trails, all trails are 2 feet wider, brand New Piston Bully Groomer, and a larger gift shop for all of your essentials.

Collingwood has a superb selection of restaurants, pubs and cozy cafes. Blue Mountain Resort is at the base of the hill offering a large selection of family dinning, pubs elegant restaurants in their Intrawest famous style.

Again, Blue Mountain has many events planned as does the town of Collingwood. Everything from dance clubs to sports bars and for the families bowling, snooker, indoor/outdoor pools and family events. Plan to attend and bring the family to our Nordicfest and the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Snowshoe Series breast cancer fundraiser..
