About The Birches Ski Touring Center
The Birches Resort offers some of the finest groomes and most picturesque cross country trails in New England from Moosehead Lake to Brassua Lake. We offer rental skis, boots, and poles as well as complete ski packages. We have both skate and regular skis for your enjoyment. We also offer guided ski excursions. Feeling adventurous stay in one of our wilderness yurts alongside the trails. After a great day on the trails warm up with a long soak in our wood fired hot tub, or sit by one of our giant fielstone fireplaces in our lounge or dining room. We also offer ice fishing on beautiful Moosehead Lake or snowmobiling on our 200+ miles of groomed trails. there's something for everyone at The Birches Resort

If you choose to stay with us at The Birches Resort, we offer lodge rooms at the Main Lodge, rustic log cabins or luxury vacation homes. The Birches is an excellent place to stay or visit after a long day of skiing.
