About Loon Mountain
Loon Mountain is New Hampshire's most popular winter destination. Loon is located 2 hours north of Boston in the town of Lincoln, just off the scenic Kancamagus Highway. Loon offers a variety of vacation opportunities with over 13,000 beds in the area, plus skiing, snowboarding, xc, snowshoeing, snow tubing, lessons, rentals, indoor rock climbing, free shuttle bus into town, kids programs and more. 16 km of cross country trails for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing that meander through the White Mountains and along Pemigewasset River.

Lessons are offer for ages 3 and over. Specialty programs are available for kids 3-12. Peak Seeker beginner program offered. Customized private lessons, women-only lessons available too.

Loon Mountain will open its South Peak this winter, which includes 3 more trails, two more lifts, an additional 50 acres of skiing and riding. This represents only 35% of the total planned expansion to take place within the next 5 years.
