About Grand Targhee Resort
Mountains, wildlife, pure air and groomed tracks come together to make the Targhee Nordic Trail System a cross-country wonderland. Rick's Basin, long considered one of the most beautiful nordic areas in the country, offers 15 kilometers of groomed skating lanes and tracks through wooded glades and scenic meadows. And Targhee typically enjoys the earliest snowfall in the Tetons, so you're well on your way to terrific track skiing by mid-November.

Cross Country Skiing Lessons at Grand Targhee Resort
We offer all Nordic disciplines with our experienced, friendly staff: telemark, classic and skate skiing. Targhee is the place to develop your Nordic skills - soft snow, fewer crowds and great instruction with access to perhaps the most beautiful Nordic track system in the world. We also host an annual Telemark Festival every spring.

We have completed extensive work on our Nordic Trail system to ensure a fantastic track set and skating lanes early season. With our consistent snowfall, you can count on a great track as soon as we are open and throughout the season. Come check it out!
Grand Targhee Resort Lodging, Hotels, and Condos
Each of the three western-style lodges at Grand Targhee are located within steps of the lifts. Ski, board or hike “home” to the Targhee or Teewinot Lodges, or the Sioux Lodge suites. We also offer a wide range of condominiums, vacation homes and town homes a short distance away.
