What's New This Season at Ski Sundown
| New Trail opening Winter 2014/2015!! “Satan’s Stairway,” a double black diamond trail, will be the steepest trail in Connecticut and arguably one of the most challenging runs in Southern New England. Located in between and accessed by the Exhibition Triple and Triple Barrel chairlifts, Satan’s Stairway is characterized by its classic New England cut and will feature top to bottom moguls for much of the season, new snow-making pipe and over 30 snow guns, allowing us to absolutely bury the trail in snow. The trail will also be lighted for night skiing. Between last season’s expansion of the Sunnyside Learning Area and the addition of Satan’s Stairway, we’re up to 70 total skiable acres, with 100% snowmaking coverage.
We will continue to offer FREE NASTAR racing on Thursday nights from 6:30-9:30pm beginning Jan 8, and on Sundays from 2:30pm - 5:30pm beginning Jan 4.
