About Boyne Highlands Resort
Everett Kircher purchased Boyne Highlands in 1964. Resembling an English country estate, Boyne Highlands is located in the northwest lower peninsula of Michigan in Emmet County. Approximately 280 miles north of Detroit and eight miles north of Petoskey in Harbor Springs. Positioned and commonly referred to as the “Pinehurst of the Midwest”, Boyne Highlands offers the finest in golf and snowsports facilities. A variety of accommodations, numerous dining options, meeting facilities, massage and wellness services and real estate opportunities paired with four nationally ranked golf courses and an expanse of terrain for unlimited winter recreation afford families, groups and property owners alike the true pleasures of resort lifestyle. Recent upgrades include new beds and flat-screen televisions in the Main Lodge and a major bunker sand replacement project.

What's New This Season at Boyne Highlands Resort
This winter, Boyne Highlands adds another 40 Boyne Low-E fan guns. Both Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain have installed new electronic live-time signage at the base of the slopes, providing guests with easy access to the open/close status of trails and chairlifts. Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain have partnered with Burton Snowboards to develop Riglet Parks at the resorts for the 2012-13 season. The parks are the first to be built in northern Michigan, and join just one other park in the state. Riglet Parks offer on-snow play areas with fun terrain and features designed to introduce children ages 3 to 6 to snowboarding.
