Founded in 1980, this tram provides glacier skiing. In 1989, it was the highest lift in Austria.
In autumn 2012 the Wildspitzbahn and the new Café 3.440, which is located in the mountain station of Wildspitzbahn opened. The new Wildspitzbahn and the café create even more comfort and capacity on the Pitztal Glacier
