About Marble Mountain
At Marble Mountain, we’re known for our challenging terrain, abundance of snow and short lift lines. Our vertical drop is the highest of any ski area in Atlantic Canada. Nearby Corner Brook is the snowiest city in Canada. And Newfoundlanders are known for being the friendliest people in the world.
Location: We’re located on the west coast on the island of Newfoundland in eastern Canada. Marble Mountain is part of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range, which stretches up from Georgia in the Southern United States. The summit of Marble Mountain is 1,700 feet above the Humber River, which cuts a winding path through the majestic Humber Valley to the Bay of Islands on Newfoundland's west coast. The closest city is Corner Brook, which is the service hub for Western Newfoundland and home to 21,000 people. The nearest airport is in Deer Lake, which is just half-hour away on the Trans Canada Highway, a four-lane divided highway. |
