About Loferer Alm-Bahnen
Lofer – the ski resort with the low cost family card. The Loferer Alm Bahnen with their 10 gondolas and lifts – 45 km away from Salzburg – is known for their family friendly ticket prices.
The ski resort is ideal for children or advanced skiers with perfect slopes and 46 km of pistes and downhill runs for all levels of difficulty.
A special challenge is the 9 km long, artificially snowed downhill run starting from Grubhoerndl with over 1000m difference in altitude, 2 gondolas and 2 chair lifts, one of which is our modern 6 seat char lift “Family Express” with wind protection and heated seats, providing a modern ski experience.
For families we offer top prices for day and multi-day passes.
With over 50 artificial snow machines, 9 out of 10 lifts or 65% of pistes can be snowed artificially, providing perfect snow conditions. Last year, the downhill run (starting at 630m) was fully available from the first day (19th December) until the last day of operations (9th April).
