What's New This Season at Angel Fire
Angel Fire Resort is introducing the first and only nighttime skiing and snowboarding in New Mexico for the 2009-2010 winter season. The resort is lighting up 50 acres for fun after dark. A set of freestyle park features including jumps, rails and fun boxes will be accessible during the evening hours, as well as the timed NASTAR race course and the very popular Polar Coaster tubing hill. Night skiing and snowboarding will be available 4pm-9pm. Angel Fire Resort has also developed a new children’s progressive learning trail named “Bominable” This half-mile trail is located just off the resort’s signature green run, Headin’ Home. The run will feature snow ball throws and a ski through tee-pee and fortress. Bominable will add to Angel Fire Resort’s current terrain for all abilities, including 74 trails on 560+ skiable acres, two terrain parks, extensive cross-country trails and a three-lane tubing hill.
