About Sierra Summit
Sierra Summit is one of the closest winter resorts to almost anywhere in Central California located in the Sierra National Forest at Huntington Lake, just 65 miles northeast of Fresno. This scenic resort offers terrain to challenge all ability levels of both skiers and riders, including three terrain parks and a halfpipe. Seven chairlifts and four surface lifts service over 430 acres, 45 runs, and a vertical drop of 1679 feet. The resort offers on-site lodging, a full rental department, Snowsport School and terrain to suit all ability levels of both skiers and riders. Sierra Summit is one of the best values in winter fun. If you don't like mountain driving, then stop by our Fresno Sport Shop and catch a ride to the Summit on our round-trip shuttle to the mountain offered most weekends and holidays.

What's New This Season at Sierra Summit
If you haven't visited SIerra Summit in recent years, you will be surprised by all the improvements we've made over the past several years including two new chairlifts, new runs on the Westridge, a new day lodge facility, additional paved parking, a new learning area and a moving carpet lift along with additional snowmaking to give you reliable snow conditions all winter long. We are still only a tank of gas, here and back, from most Central California locations. With the savings in gas and our lift ticket prices well below the Tahoe resorts, Sierra Summit is your best bet for this winter season.
