Everett Kircher purchased Boyne Highlands in 1964. Resembling an English country estate, Boyne Highlands is located in the northwest lower peninsula of Michigan in Emmet County. Approximately 280 miles north of Detroit and eight miles north of Petoskey in Harbor Springs. Positioned and commonly referred to as the “Pinehurst of the Midwest”, Boyne Highlands offers the finest in golf and snowsports facilities. What's New This Season at Boyne Highlands Resort
This winter, Boyne Highlands has installed state-of-the-art snowmaking control systems that streamline management of the resort’s colossal snowmaking fleet. And that’s just the start of what’s new.
For the 2014/15 season, Boyne Highlands has also undergone facility renovations and is expanding lift hours on the Interconnect and North Face chairlifts, adding lanes to the Tubing Park and features to the Burton Riglet Park, adding lighting on the NASTAR course, offering improved Nordic grooming, introducing showshoeing expeditions, adding rental equipment, and boasting a new menu of culinary delights and beer and wine events. |
