What's New This Season at Zermatt
Sunnegga paradise – Findeln – Breitboden chair lift
In time for the 2007/2008 winter season, the old 2-seat chair lift is being replaced by a 4-seat lift with heated seats on the Sunnegga paradise via Findeln to Breitboden route. Passenger capacity: 2,000 people per hour. The Findeln cableway has an underground station on Sunnegga paradise.
Hohtälli – Kellensee ski run
To replace the Gornergrat – Hohtälli cable railway an intermediate ski run (red) will be constructed from Hohtälli to Kellensee in the summer of 2007. This will mean an even better connection between Rothorn paradise, Gornergrat and Matterhorn glacier paradise.
Stockhorn ski lift
A new ski lift was erected in the Stockhorn region. Zermatt Mountain Cableways attaches great importance to making the free-ride area accessible even after the closure of the Hohtälli – Stockhorn cable railway. The Hohtälli – Rote Nase cable railway and the Triftij ski lift will remain in service.
