About China Peak
China Peak is the premier mountain resort in the central California area, serving mainly the central coast, Fresno, and Bakersfield areas. Established in 1957, China Peak Mountain resort has been providing skiers and riders with the best the mountain has to offer for over 50 years. In the early 80's the resort changed it's name to Sierra Summit, and just this year returned to China Peak.
Today the mountain continues to delight and challenge its visitors every season, and newly upgraded accommodations and amenities make skiing and snowboarding an enjoyable experience for all.

love this place!

What's New This Season at China Peak
We have made numerous improvements this past summer, all focused on dramatically improving the guest experience, including two new magic carpets making your learn to ski and ride experience incomparably easier than ever! In addition, the Day Lodge bar is now four times as big, named after 50 year Fresno Skier Jack Pieroni (Jack's). Furthermore, there is extended parking and improved ski school for kids!
